I'm thrilled to be involved in both NEW MUSIC and musical theatre!  I haven't done either in a long time.  It's been wonderful to work with Tom Slot again, having worked with and met him first doing a reading of his musical Father of Songs in 2009.

Tom's work is interesting, poetic, humorous, poignant and toe-tapping.  These pieces are no exception!  They are snippets from three of his new musicals, Dream 70 (a setting of A Midsummer Night's Dream moved to the 1970s), Girls Can't Be Superheroes (a children's musical about, yes!, a superhero who is a girl!), and Father of Songs (a rock musical based on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice).
